The dogs and I hiked out to Twin Hills (Hike 33) to get a drone photo of the Volcanic Vent. If you like finding something unusual, the Volcanic Vent is it. The GPS coordinates for the Vent are: 035-41-56.98 N / 106-09-18.37 W.

Stephan Ausherman and I (David Ryan) hiked out to Twin Hills (Hike 33) yesterday. It was a bit warm, so you might want to save this hike for cooler weather. The road has deteriorated since my last visit, but you can still drive it if you are careful and take your time. This an amazing place to explore and a great place for an adventure hike. And as mentioned in the book, you’ll do this hike differently every time you do it. The views from the heights are spectacular and the volcanic vent is amazing. Here are a couple of pictures Stephen took yesterday.
