May 30, 2019 – Today’s Albuquerque Journal – “Go” page has an article about parking improvements at the nearby La Luz trail head and mentioned that the parking area is a Forest Service fee area. I drove up to the Piedra Lisa trail head parking area this morning to see if the Piedra Lisa parking area is now a Forest Service fee area. Good News – parking at the Piedra Lisa trail head is still FREE!
